Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Medical Affairs Manager / Assistant Manager – Oncology to support medical strategy and scientific engagement across emerging markets. This role is critical in driving clinical, educational, and scientific initiatives within the oncology therapeutic area, ensuring alignment with global medical standards and regional business objectives.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in medical affairs, sound pharmacology knowledge, and proven capability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, KOLs, and field staff.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support the initiation, oversight, execution, and follow-up of clinical studies and medical projects within the assigned oncology therapeutic area.

  • Develop and deliver scientific presentations, training decks, CME materials, and conference content using up-to-date clinical guidelines and recent scientific updates.

  • Identify, engage, and manage Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), expert speakers, and academicians to support scientific exchange and educational initiatives.

  • Design and execute medical training and educational programs for internal and external stakeholders.

  • Manage all medical and educational content related to oncology products, disease areas, industry trends, and scientific publications.

  • Collaborate closely with marketing, sales, and cross-functional teams to ensure scientific accuracy and alignment.

  • Support review and approval of promotional materials, local packaging content, and product-related documents in accordance with SOPs, policies, and compliance requirements.

  • Participate in and contribute to interdisciplinary project teams, providing medical and scientific leadership.

  • Gather field insights from KOLs, analyze feedback, and submit structured reports to head office for strategy development and implementation.

  • Conduct medical and product training sessions for field teams and address scientific queries effectively.

  • Maintain high standards of medical compliance, ethics, and documentation.


Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Education: Pharm D, B.Pharm, M.Pharm, MBBS, MD, or BDS.

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of mandatory experience in a Medical Affairs role, preferably in oncology.

  • Strong understanding of pharmacology and clinical concepts relevant to oncology.

  • Prior experience supporting emerging markets will be an advantage.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, matrix environment.
