Position Overview

EVERSANA is seeking a Medical Information Specialist to deliver high-quality medical communications and information services. This remote, home-based position supports US business hours (9-hour shifts, 2:00 PM – 2:00 AM CET, Monday–Friday). Candidates must be legally eligible to work in the EU or UK.

The role is integral to EVERSANA’s Medical Communications team, providing call center support, medical writing, and scientific expertise to healthcare professionals (HCPs), patients, and industry clients. This position ensures accurate, compliant, and timely responses to medical inquiries, adverse events, and product quality reports.


Key Responsibilities

Medical Information & Communication

  • Triage and respond to medical inquiries from physicians, pharmacists, nurses, and patients

  • Translate documents between English and target language, delivering responses via phone or written communication

  • Critically evaluate medical literature to provide accurate, evidence-based responses

  • Develop medical writing deliverables, including adverse event narratives, product complaint reports, and custom responses

Safety & Compliance

  • Identify and report adverse events (AEs) and product quality complaints in accordance with EVERSANA SOPs and local regulations

  • Ensure accurate intake and documentation of safety-related information

  • Collaborate with Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, and other internal teams for complaint handling

Operational Excellence

  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance call center and medical information metrics

  • Support miscellaneous projects including market research, system development, sales training, and field liaison activities

  • On-call responsibilities as assigned

Work Schedule & Travel

  • US hours: 2:00 PM – 2:00 AM CET, Monday–Friday

  • Travel: Up to 10% (if required)

  • Home-based with possible European hub office support


Required Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (MPharm or PharmD preferred)

Experience & Skills:

  • Strong clinical background with knowledge of drug information and safety reporting

  • Fluent in English; additional European languages at C1/C2 level are a plus

  • Excellent verbal, written, and translation skills

  • Experience in medical writing, call center operations, or Medical Information roles

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and medical information management systems
