Job Overview

EVERSANA is seeking an experienced Medical Science Liaison (MSL) – Cardiology to support its cardiovascular portfolio across the Mid-Atlantic region of the United States. This field-based role focuses on scientific exchange, KOL engagement, and medical affairs support for innovative anti-arrhythmic therapies used in the management of paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia (PSVT), atrial fibrillation (AFib), and other episodic cardiovascular conditions.

The MSL will serve as a key scientific partner to healthcare professionals, investigators, and internal stakeholders, ensuring compliant, high-quality scientific communication aligned with corporate and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary field-based medical contact for assigned territory, reporting to senior medical leadership

  • Lead compliant scientific exchange (SE) with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), healthcare professionals (HCPs), payers, and integrated delivery networks

  • Develop, implement, and maintain strategic KOL engagement plans within the cardiology therapeutic area

  • Establish and nurture long-term scientific partnerships at local, regional, and national levels

  • Provide in-depth scientific and clinical expertise on cardiovascular disease states, clinical data, and product pipeline

  • Capture, document, and communicate actionable scientific insights to internal medical, clinical, and commercial stakeholders

  • Support pre-launch and post-launch medical affairs activities, including disease education and internal scientific training

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, Commercial, and Market Access teams in a compliant manner

  • Support investigator-initiated studies (IIS), external collaborative research (ECR), and company-sponsored clinical trials as requested

  • Participate in and support medical congresses, including planning, booth coverage, KOL meetings, session attendance, and post-congress insights reporting

  • Serve as a scientific resource for medical information inquiries and internal stakeholder education

  • Ensure strict adherence to SOPs, FDA regulations, PhRMA Code, and all applicable legal and compliance requirements

  • Contribute to organizational initiatives beyond assigned territory as needed

  • Travel requirement: approximately 60% or more


Required Qualifications & Experience

Education:

  • Advanced scientific or clinical degree such as PharmD, MD, DO, or PhD, with 1+ years of relevant therapeutic experience, or

  • Master’s degree in Health Sciences (MS, MSN, MPH, MHA) with 3+ years of relevant clinical or therapeutic experience, or

  • Bachelor’s degree with MBA (BSc + MBA or BSN + MBA) and 5+ years of relevant therapeutic experience

Professional Experience:

  • Minimum 4+ years of experience as a Medical Science Liaison, with a strong focus on field-based scientific exchange

  • Prior experience in cardiology or cardiovascular therapeutics strongly preferred

  • Proven ability to interpret and communicate complex clinical and scientific data to expert audiences

  • Strong understanding of U.S. healthcare systems, clinical practice patterns, and medical affairs operations
