Role Summary:
We are currently seeking a Medical Writer II to support clinical development programs through expert preparation of scientific and regulatory documentation. Based in Farmingdale, NY with a hybrid work arrangement, this role is ideal for experienced writers passionate about clinical research and scientific communication.
Key Responsibilities:
Write, edit, and review clinical and regulatory documents, including CSRs, protocols, IBs, and patient narratives.
Support the development of scientific publications—manuscripts, abstracts, posters, and conference presentations—through literature review, data analysis, and interpretation.
Review and validate clinical trial data for consistency, accuracy, and adherence to study protocols and SOPs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and participate in client meetings to provide input on document structure, content, and timelines.
Remain up to date with evolving scientific trends, industry best practices, and global regulatory guidelines relevant to assigned therapeutic areas.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Medicine, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in medical writing within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or CRO industry.
Proficient in medical and scientific terminology, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
Solid analytical skills with a keen ability to interpret and convey clinical data and findings.
Familiarity with global regulatory requirements, publication standards, and document submission guidelines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with document and reference management systems is a plus.
Compensation & Benefits:
Salary Range: $83,032.00 – $103,790.00 (actual pay based on experience, location, and qualifications)
