Regional Medical Affairs Manager

Job Description:

The Regional Medical Affairs Manager is responsible for scientific engagement, KOL management, and medical training within the assigned region. The role requires a strong foundation in medical affairs, strategic communication, and regulatory compliance to support field teams and healthcare professionals (HCPs).

Minimum Qualifications & Experience:

  • MD/MBBS/MDS/BDS with 3-5 years of experience in regional or medico-marketing roles within a pharmaceutical/nutrition company.

Critical Skills Required:

  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and coordination skills.

  • Effective problem-solving and team leadership abilities.

  • Ability to analyze and present complex scientific data clearly.

  • Adaptability to different working conditions.

  • Capability to deliver effective scientific presentations to internal teams and HCPs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Travel to assigned regions and lead scientific activities.

  • Act as a speaker at scientific programs, delivering lectures and presentations.

  • Own and execute HCP E-engagement platforms as per division directives.

  • Conduct fieldwork with sales teams, including face-to-face and E-calls with HCPs.

  • Serve as a scientific liaison between the company and the medical community.

  • Develop relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) across various therapeutic areas.

  • Manage Medical Information Services (MIS) to support sales teams with scientific updates.

  • Train field force and coordinate new hire training with the training team.

  • Monitor and report competitive/scientific intelligence for timely objection handling.

  • Ensure compliance with internal guidelines, country regulations, and industry codes.

  • Adapt to evolving company requirements as directed by the division head.
