Position Overview:
Cencora is hiring a remote Associate Director Quality, Management & Compliance (QMC), based on the East Coast of the US. This role supports Quality, Management & Compliance functions with a broad range of consulting responsibilities and is central to the organizational and operational development of the QMC VDC (Virtual Development Center).


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Drive major QMC programs with client partners and PAL, including implementation of budgets, KPIs, and project management.

  • Provide thought leadership in QMC-related technical areas.

  • Cultivate and maintain client relationships while identifying service expansion opportunities.

  • Communicate with clients and Health Authorities effectively.

  • Lead planning and execution of client projects in line with KPIs, managing internal and external project teams.

  • Deliver strategic QMC guidance across multiple client projects and programs.

  • Contribute to proposal development and project acquisition decisions.

  • Maintain up-to-date regulatory intelligence and share insights internally.

  • Support and implement VDC strategy and process optimization.

  • Provide technical coaching and mentorship to team members.

  • Participate in business development activities, including proposals, presentations, and bid defenses.

  • Supervise project teams to ensure budget adherence and resolve invoicing issues.

  • Provide on-site QMC support to PharmaLex clients as required.

  • Perform additional tasks in alignment with capabilities and business needs.


Experience & Education Requirements:

  • 10–15 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.

  • Strong network and professional presence across the industry and associations.

  • Proven ability to handle complex problems with solution-oriented strategies.

  • University degree in Life Sciences.


Skills & Competencies:

  • Strategic goal setting for GCS and client partnerships.

  • Strong analytical, structured, and independent work style.

  • Proficiency in business process reengineering and change management.

  • Capability to identify and act on cross-selling opportunities.

  • Leadership experience in managing and mentoring teams.

  • Ability to lead complex international projects and drive team alignment.

  • Proven experience in client relationship management at VP level.

  • Strong verbal and written communication and negotiation skills.

  • Business fluency in English; local language proficiency as appropriate.
