About the Team

The selected candidate will join the Research and Development division within the Cell Culture domain. The core Cell Culture team plays a critical role in delivering high-quality biological samples to internal stakeholders. The team works extensively with primary cells, immortalized cell lines, and stem cells, supporting antibody development and advanced biological research programs.


Role Purpose

The Scientist I will be an integral member of the antibody development and cell culture validation team. The role focuses on enhancing customer outcomes through the validation of cell culture workflows, reagents, and consumables, while ensuring high standards of data quality, reproducibility, and scientific rigor.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform aseptic expansion, maintenance, and cryopreservation of mammalian cancer cell lines, primary cells, and stem cells

  • Conduct pharmacological stimulation and inhibition studies on cell lines

  • Prepare cell lysates, buffers, and media for downstream applications including Western blotting, immunoprecipitation, and immunofluorescence

  • Monitor cell health on a daily basis and maintain accurate experimental records using datasheets and electronic laboratory notebooks

  • Ensure strict compliance with data integrity and accuracy standards

  • Independently plan, execute, and document experiments

  • Contribute to technical documentation and scientific writing


Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Master’s degree (M.Sc.) in Cell Biology, Biotechnology, Genetics, or a related Life Sciences discipline

  • 0–3 years of relevant research or industry experience, or a PhD in Life Sciences

  • Strong foundational knowledge of cell biology, protein biology, and molecular biology

  • Hands-on experience with standard cell culture techniques and laboratory protocols


Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Experience in stem cell culture and related workflows

  • Familiarity with GLP, GMP, laboratory safety practices, and EHS guidelines

  • Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

  • Working knowledge of statistical analysis and software tools such as GraphPad Prism

  • Publications in peer-reviewed scientific journals

  • Prior industry exposure and scientific or technical writing experience
