Job Description:
The Senior Specialist Oncology will provide strategic support and expertise in oncology, driving the development and implementation of medical affairs initiatives. This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams, including clinical development, marketing, and regulatory affairs, to ensure the successful launch of the oncology pipeline.

Key Responsibilities:

  • People Manager Role: Manage 2 field-based medical advisors focusing on West and South regions of India.

  • Strategic Guidance: Provide strategic expertise in oncology for medical affairs plans, focusing on Lung Cancer, GU Cancers, and Hematology portfolios.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Support the successful launch and commercialization of oncology products by working closely with internal teams.

  • KOL Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) in the oncology field.

  • Scientific Expertise: Stay updated with scientific advancements, clinical trial data, and competitive landscapes in oncology.

  • Scientific Communication: Contribute to the development of scientific communications, including publications, presentations, and educational materials.

  • Conference Representation: Represent the company at scientific conferences, symposiums, and advisory boards.

  • Training & Support: Provide training to sales and marketing teams on oncology products and disease management.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with external stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, patient advocacy groups, and professional organizations.

  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, including pharmacovigilance reporting and medical information requests.

Qualifications:

  • Proven expertise in oncology and medical affairs.

  • Experience managing field-based medical teams.

  • Strong understanding of oncology portfolios, including Lung Cancer, GU Cancers, and Hematology.

  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and engage with key opinion leaders.
