Job Overview
Sanofi is looking for a Team Lead – Scientific Writing to lead scientific communication initiatives within assigned therapeutic areas. The role involves managing a team of scientific writers, supporting publication planning, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality medical and scientific content for global stakeholders. The position plays a strategic role in driving medical communication projects and supporting scientific dissemination across multiple therapeutic areas.
Key Responsibilities
1. Leadership & People Management
Lead a team of scientific writers ranging from junior to expert levels.
Mentor and coach senior and expert writers to improve content quality and efficiency.
Foster collaboration and knowledge sharing within the medical writing team.
Build strong relationships with internal and external medical stakeholders.
2. Strategic & Scientific Contributions
Act as a strategic thought partner to Therapeutic Area (TA) Scientific Communication Leads.
Provide inputs to publication plans, medical education materials, and communication strategies.
Maintain deep expertise in assigned therapeutic areas and track emerging scientific trends.
3. Content Development & Delivery
Ensure timely delivery of high-quality scientific documents, clinical reports, and medical communications.
Support development of publication manuscripts, abstracts, posters, and presentations.
Ensure scientific accuracy and adherence to medical writing standards.
4. Process & Quality Management
Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and internal quality standards.
Improve productivity by developing tools, workflows, and technology solutions.
Monitor timelines, quality metrics, and project delivery performance.
5. Stakeholder Collaboration
Work closely with global scientific communication teams to identify publication opportunities.
Collaborate with medical experts and research teams to develop educational and scientific content.
Maintain strong relationships with the scientific and medical community.
